Join Sprouts Farmers Market as an Assistant Deli Manager, leading a fast‑paced, customer‑focused deli team. You will help customers make healthy food choices by providing outstanding service while managing a busy department. Responsibilities
Assist the Deli Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit. Handle ordering, inventory control, product quality, and supervise the deli team. Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, goal setting, communication, and teamwork. Support hiring, training, and development of deli staff. Unload and sort store deliveries, operate and maintain deli equipment. Ensure compliance with all company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, and validate that team members follow procedures. Thrive in a fast‑paced environment and contribute to an exceptional customer experience. Qualifications
18+ years old with at least 2 years of supervisory experience in deli or related food service. Flexible schedule availability: nights, weekends, holidays. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to give and receive direction. Outgoing, friendly demeanor with a positive attitude and customer interaction skills. Leadership ability to build, motivate, and maintain staff with knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales numbers, and financial goals. Strong focus on detail, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Food Safety certification and adherence to federal, state, and company regulations regarding product freshness, food safety, weights and measures, store safety, refrigeration, and sanitation. Strong organization and planning skills; able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks. Ability to lift/carry product weighing up to 70 lbs. from 4” to 60” for a distance up to 20 feet without mechanical assistance for up to 4 hours. Ability to stand continuously for up to 8 hours per shift. Operate slicer, wrapping, and cooking equipment; maintain equipment in safe working condition. Perform other related duties as assigned. Pay Range
Hourly $19.50 – $29.15. Sprouts determines pay based on experience and qualifications. Benefits
