Sales Consultant
The Sales Consultant position services retail stores. The role involves managing an established sales territory, selling, servicing, merchandising, and administrative duties to ensure up-to-date accounts receivable.
Position Duties
Territory Management
Ensure consistent customer contact
Properly plan and execute sales initiatives
Handle all customer related issues promptly and friendly
Selling
Full understanding of products and pricing schedules
Make effective sales presentations
Achieve assigned company objectives and growth
Identify and nurture new accounts
Merchandising
Use all available POS to enhance selling efforts
Focus on display size, location, shelf position, standards, cold boxes, counters, windows, etc.
Servicing
Follow necessary steps on sales calls
Perform reliable inventory checks and communicate properly
Properly rotate products on shelves, cold boxes, displays, etc.
Administration
Adhere to company policies and procedures
Handle all paperwork issues promptly and timely
Position Qualifications
BA/BS college degree or related industry experience
Prior route sales experience (highly preferred)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Goal and results driven
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Reliable transportation and proof of insurance
Local candidates preferred (no relocation package)
