JOB SUMMARY Reporting to the Sales Director, the Inside Sales Representative is responsible for sales growth within a defined territory. Inside Sales Representatives are accountable for maintaining positive business relationships to ensure achievement of sales targets and individual sales KPIs across our portfolio of brands. Each Inside Sales Representative is responsible for creating territory‑level plans to hit goals and working with the regional marketing team to implement promotions, sampling, and in‑store support.
CORE JOB DUTIES
Grow sales within the sales territory.
Manage internal product transfers to support first‑party revenue attainment vs plan.
Research target accounts to identify key decision‑makers and generate interest in company products and services through strategic outbound calls, emails, and social outreach.
Identify potential customers, initiate, and manage prospects through the sales pipeline, and close opportunities.
Achieve monthly revenue and profit goals, including setting individual customer targets and plans.
Manage wholesale delivery communications by coordinating sales orders and delivery schedules, while maintaining daily updates to wholesale menus including accurate SKUs and inventory quantities.
Manage customer relationships throughout the sales process, from ordering to credit memos, and document in company CRM.
Set up new vendors and customers in WSP, create purchase orders for bulk wholesale procurement and coordinate deliveries to ensure timely and efficient fulfillment.
Deliver on KPI’s such as increased distribution, re‑order rates, and successful new product launches.
Provide insights regarding outcomes of programs and promotions.
Work closely with national accounts and marketing partners to drive portfolio growth.
Create and deliver presentations tailored to audience needs, using excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and persuasive skills.
Monitor competition and market trends by gathering information on pricing, products, market presence, and other key factors.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
3‑5+ years proven sales experience in cannabis, alcohol, or pharmaceutical sales is preferred.
Candidate must be based in Pennsylvania.
Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and own transportation.
Ability to travel throughout assigned territory, including nights and occasional weekends.
Highly motivated and performance‑driven with good time‑management and organizational skills.
Relationship‑management skills and openness to feedback.
Maintain a high level of integrity, personal motivation, and sense of urgency.
Proficiency with MS Office in a Windows environment and familiarity with sales tracking and reporting software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
