Home Health Executive Sales
Responsibilities
Build relationships with the physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities’ management, discharge planners, and case managers to promote our homecare services for Medicare and Private Duty Nursing.
Conduct in-services, presentations, educational sessions, host and attend relevant events by introducing our home health care services to physicians, patients, their families, facility staff and other referral sources.
Coordinate and complete on-site discharge planning when needed.
Perform an initial territory market analysis and required business development plans quarterly/annually. Develop, implement, and evaluate all marketing/sales activities for the company services.
Develop and establish new business referral sources consistently.
Maintain current relationships with referral sources and meet regularly with the clinical team.
Identify and implement market strategies with sales and clinical teams resulting in continued census growth.
Maintain knowledge of Medicare and State specific home health care regulations.
Obtain physician's order for specified treatments and participate in the referral process.
Prepare business plans and maintain target lists. Prioritize accounts according to the market sales plan.
Gather and organize account-related information and provide input on key customer opportunities, service line extensions and proposal or contract pricing.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a health-related science (e.g., nursing, pharmacy, etc.) or the equivalent plus a minimum of two years health care or related industry sales experience generally required.
Excellent selling, organization, problem-solving skills, and the ability to appropriately represent the Company service capabilities to the targeted referral source audience is required.
Previous healthcare sales experience preferred such as selling in skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), DME, ortho, cardio, etc. OR previous experience as a clinical liaison preferred.
Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills required. Microsoft Office proficiency required.
Ability to travel within assigned territory and to sales meetings as required.
