Responsibilities
Set sales strategies and objectives to achieve our sales goals.
Lead our sales team by setting a sales plan for each representative, identifying individual sales targets, assigning territories, and overseeing training programs.
Counsel sales team members, evaluate their performance, and offer suggestions for improvement.
Keep the company growing by identifying new sales opportunities, emerging markets, and lead generation programs.
Present sales reports to the team that accurately represent sales efforts, including progress and volume, to forecast future goals.
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top-tier sales professionals.
Utilize various channels (networking, social media, job boards) to identify and engage potential candidates and build a talent pipeline.
Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates’ qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
Work closely with sales leadership to monitor and assess the performance of the sales team.
Provide guidance and support for professional development and growth.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of the company’s brand.
Stay informed about industry trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitor activities; provide insights for optimizing recruitment strategies.
Collaborate with leadership and other departments to ensure a cohesive and effective recruitment and development process.
Qualifications
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Bachelor’s degree in business or a related major.
At least 3 years of experience in sales management or a leadership role in the sales department.
Proven track record of sales success.
Experience in sales management and recruitment within the financial services industry.
Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Familiarity with sales performance metrics and ability to assess candidates against key success factors.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful recruitment strategies.
Life and Health Insurance Licensed.
Series 6 and 63 or Series 7 and 66 licenses preferred.
Compensation $75,000 - $150,000 plus benefits
