Overview
We’re hiring an all-star sales manager to lead our team and help us hit our sales goals. You’ll cultivate and motivate your team, identify targets and goals, and evaluate sales performance to ensure our success. The ideal candidate is a natural leader, a team player, and loves taking on new challenges.
Responsibilities
Maintain long‑lasting customer relationships and manage customer complaints to ensure we are meeting their needs
Determine our sales strategies and sales objectives to hit our sales goals
Identify new sales opportunities, emerging markets, and lead generation programs to keep us growing
Lead our sales team by setting a sales plan for each sales representative, identifying individual sales targets, assigning sales territories, and overseeing training programs to make sure they’re successful
Present sales reports to the team that accurately represent sales efforts including sales progress and volume to more accurately forecast future goals
Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve business goals
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase revenue and market share
Recruit, train, and retain high‑performing sales agents
Monitor sales performance and provide regular feedback and reports to senior management
Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction
Stay updated on insurance products, market trends, and regulatory requirements
Represent the company professionally at client meetings, networking events, and community engagements
Qualifications
Must possess a bachelor’s degree in business or a similar major
Displays a proven track record of sales success
At least 3 years of experience in sales management or in a leadership role in the sales department
Excellent leadership skills, analytical skills, and communication skills
Strong leadership and communication skills with a proven ability to inspire and develop teams
Solid understanding of life insurance, financial planning, and investment products
Goal‑oriented, analytical, and able to work under pressure
Licensed (or eligible for licensing) to sell life and health insurance products
Compensation $100,000‑$180,000 per year
