Job Description
Reporting to the General Sales Manager, the District Sales Manager (DSM) leads a group of Account Sales Managers (ASMs) accountable for in-store execution for a set of essential customers. The DSM drives sales volume, tracks Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and coaches and develops their team.
Managing Expectations
Establish Sales/KPI targets for each assigned Account Manager and oversee monthly performance, including feedback, coaching, corrective counseling, and performance reviews.
Maintain regular communication with retail partners/decision makers to implement national/local programming.
Leading Excellence
Spend 2 full days on route rides per week, training and evaluating Account Managers and assessing executional conditions of the market.
Teach selling skills through role plays, objection handling, retail math, and understanding buying personalities.
Conduct regular group and one‑on‑one meetings/workshops to improve expertise and recognize rewards.
Organizational Leader
Collaborate across the organization, share best practices, and contribute as a leader among peers.
Build a diverse organization reflecting the marketplace, exemplifying Red Bull's values.
Ensure the team follows standards and operating procedures.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in Direct Store Delivery (DSD) management.
Experience supervising a team of account sales professionals.
Valid US Driver’s License and DOT Medical card.
Ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds.
English language proficiency; additional languages an advantage.
