The Business Development Representative plays a key role in expanding The Blanchard Institutes impact across Charlotte and Lake Norman by developing new referral partnerships and strengthening existing ones. This role blends strategic outreach, relationship management, and field execution to drive growth through assessments and admissions.

Primary Duties

Maintain tiered outreach strategy across all account categories

Schedule and complete daily meetings to support new business generation and maintain high-value relationships

Manage a territory prospecting plan for Charlotte, Lake Norman, and surrounding areas

Build trust-based relationships with decision-makers and referral coordinators

Support HLOC transfers and maintain alignment with intake on availability

Track assessments and admissions influenced by territory accounts via CRM

Host lunch-and-learns, training, and educational visits

Attend networking events, conferences, and community engagements

Maintain detailed weekly reporting and maintain the tier tracking dashboard

Identify new referral sources, re-engage inactive partners, and move accounts up the tier structure

Serve as a brand ambassador representing TBIs family-centered values

Qualifications

2+ years sales experience in behavioral health, healthcare sales, or community engagement

Bonus: Case Management experience/ history of selling to case managers

Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and sales skills

Ability to manage a large geographic territory

Organized, disciplined, and comfortable with KPIs

Strong follow-through and professionalism

Must be comfortable with public speaking

Valid drivers license and reliable transportation

Live in or surrounding Charlotte, NC
