Position: Social Media Intern (Hybrid)
Reports To: National Content Creator
Location: Any Volo city
Unpaid Internship / School Credit Eligible

About Us: At Volo Sports, we believe in the power of play and creating meaningful connections through sports, community, and content. We're looking for a passionate and creative Social Media Intern to join our growing national team and support content creation efforts that reach players across the country.

Role Overview: As a Social Media Intern, you'll work directly under our National Content Creator to brainstorm, develop, and distribute engaging content across our social channels-primarily Instagram and TikTok. You'll help manage posting schedules, edit video content, and bring fresh, creative energy to our digital presence. This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking to build a content portfolio and gain experience in brand storytelling

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily content creation and posting for Instagram (Reels, Stories, Feed) and other platforms as needed
• Edit short-form video content using mobile or desktop editing tools (CapCut, Premiere, Canva, etc.)
• Help maintain a consistent brand voice and visual aesthetic
• Monitor trends and brainstorm ways to apply them to our brand
• Schedule posts and help track performance metrics
• Participate in creative content meetings and contribute new ideas
• Occasionally assist with light graphic design and captions
• Engage with community comments and DMs as needed

What We're Looking For:

• Strong knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, and current social media trends
• Experience with video editing (phone or desktop)
• Comfortable using social tools like Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite, etc.
• Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Self-starter who can work independently and manage deadlines remotely
• Bonus: Experience with sports, rec leagues, or community-based content
• Able to go to leagues and record content
