Master’s degree in Special Education, Educational Diagnostics, Psychology or a related field, active Educational Diagnostician license, and 1+ years Educational Diagnostician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time position is available for an Educational Diagnostician supporting K-12 students in a public school setting in Harvey, LA. This contract role runs through the current school year, with an anticipated end date in May 2026. The position offers a schedule of Monday through Friday, approximately 35 hours per week, aligned with the school calendar. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for K-12 students to identify learning needs and disabilities Collaborate with educators and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and recommend appropriate interventions Document findings thoroughly and provide clear reports Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to student support strategies Qualifications and Experience: Active Louisiana Department of Education certification as an Educational Diagnostician required Experience working with a diverse K-12 student population preferred Strong assessment and diagnostic skills Ability to communicate effectively with educators, parents, and students Proficiency in utilizing assessment tools and documentation software Location: This role is based in Harvey, Louisiana, within the public school district serving the New Orleans metropolitan area.
