Master’s degree in Special Education, Educational Diagnostics, Psychology or a related field, active Educational Diagnostician license, and 1+ years Educational Diagnostician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time educational diagnostician position supports K-12 students in a public school setting within the New Orleans area. The role involves providing comprehensive educational assessments and diagnostic services throughout the contract school year, with a flexible caseload and assignment to multiple schools as needed. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough educational evaluations for students to identify learning strengths and challenges. Interpret assessment results and prepare detailed reports to guide instructional planning. Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs). Monitor student progress and provide ongoing support during the school year. Maintain compliance with all Louisiana Department of Education regulations and school district policies. Qualifications: Active Louisiana Department of Education certification in Educational Diagnostician. Experience working with K-12 students in diverse educational settings. Strong understanding of assessment tools, educational diagnosis, and intervention strategies. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school staff. Ability to manage multiple caseloads and adhere to deadlines with professionalism.
