Job Title:
Concrete Laborer
As a Facilities Laborer on this large civil construction project, you will play a key role in supporting daily operations and maintaining site cleanliness. You will assist carpenters and other trades, help set up and maintain trailer alleys, and contribute to the construction and upkeep of temporary facilities. This role requires strong physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
Job Responsibilities
Work with carpenters, assisting in moving materials on site, including helping with the decking around various trailer alleys.
Assist with construction of temporary resting areas on site.
Municipalities building clean up: dusting, sweeping, and mopping during snowy days.
Requirements
Previous outdoor experience.
Ability to perform manual labor, including shoveling, lifting heavy material, and standing all day.
Willingness to submit to drug testing (including THC).
Work Environment
Conditions may be dry or wet and hot in summer, cold and wet in fall and winter.
Laborers will need to be prepared to wear muck boots and work in muddy conditions.
The job is dirty and requires a positive attitude and determination to complete tasks despite adverse conditions.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
