Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A specialty pharmacy is seeking experienced pharmacists to support patients with rare and orphan diseases. These positions focus on high-touch communication with both providers and patients to ensure the approval, dispensing, and payment assistance for complex specialty medications. Candidates must have direct specialty pharmacy experience and a strong understanding of navigating insurance and patient assistance programs. Location:

Monday to Friday, day shift Start:

ASAP Responsibilities: Dispense and manage rare and orphan specialty pharmacy medications Facilitate high-level communication between healthcare providers and patients Assist with insurance approvals, grants, rebates, and other patient payment programs Utilize McKesson Enterprise (ERx) system for specialty pharmacy operations Provide clinical support and expertise to ensure optimal medication use and adherence Qualifications / Desired Experience: Active pharmacist license in Arizona, in good standing Demonstrated experience working exclusively in a designated specialty pharmacy setting (retail pharmacists without specialty experience in this area will not be considered) Ideal candidates have experience in specialty retail and/or specialty mail order pharmacy Proven ability to handle complex case management related to rare disease medications Strong clinical knowledge and excellent communication skills Candidates must submit an updated resume, one specialty pharmacy reference, a copy of their Arizona license, and ensure their resume clearly highlights relevant specialty pharmacy experience, including specific disease areas of expertise.
