Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A direct hire opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist seeking to lead pharmacy operations in a retail setting. The position offers a dynamic schedule with variable hours, including evening shifts, typically structured as 4x10 or 4x12-hour shifts from 8 AM to 8 PM. Location: Keeseville, NY (with relocation assistance offered for permanent candidates) Key Responsibilities: Serve as the supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge, maintaining registration with the state board of pharmacy. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and board of pharmacy regulations as well as company policies. Oversee the pharmacy departments financial performance, including budget, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory management. Lead pharmacy support personnel by managing job performance, training, and accountability. Participate in business development activities within the store and the surrounding community. Provide patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs. Counsel patients and healthcare providers on drug therapies, side effects, and drug interactions. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized pharmacy environment. Complete all required continuing education programs as mandated by state law.
