This position involves comprehensive pharmacy operations management within a retail environment that typically operates on 4x10 or 4x12 hour schedules, such as 8 am to 8 pm shifts. Key Responsibilities: Register and comply with state board of pharmacy requirements as a supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge. Ensure the pharmacy adheres to all federal, state, and company policies and regulations. Oversee pharmacy financial performance including budgeting, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory management. Lead and manage pharmacy support personnel, including performance reviews and training. Facilitate business development initiatives within the store and local community. Deliver patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs. Advise patients and healthcare providers about medications, dosages, interactions, and side effects to optimize therapy outcomes. Maintain organizational compliance with continuous quality improvement and safety programs. Keep a clean and orderly pharmacy workspace and participate in required continuing education programs. Experience: Valid New York State Pharmacist License. Immunization Certification is mandatory. Comfortable administering all vaccines.
