Part-Time Staff Pharmacist
for a
6+ week assignment
in
Montgomery, Alabama . This role is ideal for pharmacists looking for consistent, short-shift coverage in a structured pharmacy environment. Schedule Part-time: 20 hours per week
Monday, Thursday, Friday: 5:30 AM 12:30 PM
Position Overview The Staff Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring safe and accurate medication management, providing pharmaceutical consultation, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. This role includes compounding, dispensing, and overseeing medication security within the facility. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate drug records and ensure medication security throughout the facility
Prepare daily doses and take-home doses accurately
Review dose changes and verify correct preparation of medications
Provide pharmaceutical consultation to staff and patients as needed
Forecast inventory needs and order medications appropriately
Process quarantined medications for proper disposal
Implement operating procedures and report to management or authorities as required
Required Qualifications Active and unrestricted Alabama Pharmacist License
Strong attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance
Ability to work independently in a structured pharmacy setting
