We are seeking an experienced
Retail Pharmacist
for a
13-week contract
in
Zanesville, Ohio . This role is ideal for pharmacists with
current retail pharmacy experience
who are comfortable working varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. Position Overview As a Retail Pharmacist, you will be responsible for the safe and accurate dispensing of prescriptions, counseling patients, and supporting the daily operations of a busy retail pharmacy. This is a hands-on opportunity in a well-organized pharmacy environment, with strong technician support. Schedule 40 hours per week
Varied shifts including weekend and holiday rotations
Key Responsibilities Verify and dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and interactions
Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and staff to maintain smooth operations
Maintain accurate patient and pharmacy records
Support vaccination administration and other clinical services as required
Required Qualifications Active and unrestricted Ohio Pharmacist License
Minimum
1 year of current retail pharmacy experience
Vaccination certification
at time of submission
Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and patient-focused approach
Preferred Qualifications Experience with
RX30 pharmacy system
