Contract to Hire Schedule: Monday through Thursday: 8:30 AM 5:30 PM Friday: 8:30 AM 12:30 PM Key Responsibilities: Accurately dispense and manage prescriptions in a retail HIV/AIDS specialty pharmacy Provide high-quality patient care and support, ensuring clear communication with patients and healthcare providers Manage pharmacy operations independently, as the sole pharmacist on site without a pharmacy technician Participate in a two-week training period in St. Petersburg, FL, if requested, to ensure proficiency in pharmacy operations and protocols Maintain consistent attendance and a positive, professional attitude Desired Experience and Qualifications: Active Florida pharmacist license Minimum of one year retail pharmacy experience Experience dispensing HIV/AIDS medication is a must and should be clearly noted on the resume Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy software preferred Strong communication skills and commitment to patient support Ability to work independently and manage volume efficiently Willingness to travel for training This position offers ongoing training and support following the initial training phase to help you succeed in this specialized pharmacy setting.
