A unique opportunity is available for a dedicated pharmacist to support a specialty retail pharmacy focused on HIV/AIDS medications. This position requires a self-sufficient professional capable of managing a single-pharmacist site with no pharmacy technician on staff. The workload averages 20-35 prescriptions daily, demanding efficiency and strong organizational skills. Responsibilities: Dispense HIV/AIDS specialty medications accurately and efficiently. Provide high-level patient care with strong communication and support. Maintain professional communication with healthcare providers. Manage all pharmacy operations independently in the absence of a technician. Participate in ongoing training and support, including up to two weeks of mandatory training in St. Petersburg, FL. Ensure reliability by maintaining punctual attendance and a positive attitude. Desired Experience and Qualifications: Active Florida pharmacist license. Minimum of one year retail pharmacy experience. Experience dispensing HIV/AIDS medications must be clearly documented on the resume. Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy software is preferred. Strong patient care focus with excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently and handle workload without technician assistance. Schedule: Monday through Thursday: 8:30 AM 5:30 PM Friday: 8:30 AM 12:30 PM This contract position is expected to last 13 weeks or may transition to a contract-to-hire opportunity for the right candidate. Candidates must be prepared to travel to St. Petersburg, FL, for the initial training period.
