Subrogation Specialist - Medical Payments (Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Manage incoming calls and a designated volume of arbitrations related to Medical Payments and Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claims
Investigate and research losses to determine best practices for subrogation and recovery methods
Negotiate and conclude recovery settlements while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
Handle an inventory of automotive damage, disputed liability, and cross-jurisdictional claims
File and hear arbitrations as required, maintaining professionalism and positive behavior
What is Required (Qualifications):
Minimum of 3 years of automotive claims liability experience
General knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
Strong customer service and negotiation skills
Proficient analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational skills
High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Medical Payments, PIP, or Bodily Injury claims
BA/BS in Business, Insurance, or a related area, or equivalent experience
Advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
