Senior Salesforce Developer
Location:
Lansing, MI (Hybrid – Every Other Week – Local Candidates Strongly Preferred)
Duration:
12 months with possible extension
Pay Range $70 - $85/hr
Base pay: $60/hr - $80/hr
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Develop Apex classes, Lightning Web Components (LWC), triggers, Visualforce pages, and flows.
Customize and configure Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS) components.
Collaborate with business analysts and state stakeholders to refine user stories.
Support sprint ceremonies and agile development cycles (2-week cadence).
Troubleshoot bugs, resolve production issues, and manage deployments.
Integrate Salesforce with external systems (e.g., data lakes, case management tools).
Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge transfer for future enhancements.
Participate in code reviews and mentor mid-level developers on the team.
Must Haves
5+ years of Salesforce development experience (Apex, LWC, Flows).
Strong experience customizing Salesforce Government Cloud or Public Sector modules.
Familiarity with data security and compliance in regulated environments.
Experience working on large‑scale enterprise or government implementations.
Ability to work onsite in Lansing every other week.
Excellent communication skills for collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
