Responsibilities
Manage incoming calls and oversee a designated volume of arbitrations related to Medical Payments and Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claims
Investigate and research losses to determine best practices for subrogation
Negotiate and finalize recovery settlements while ensuring compliance with regulations
Handle disputes regarding liability claims and out-of-state losses
Initiate and conduct arbitration between companies on disputed claims
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of automotive claims liability experience
General or advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
Strong customer service and negotiation skills
Proficient analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational skills
High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Medical Payments, PIP, and Bodily Injury claims
BA/BS in Business, Insurance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
General understanding of various lines of coverage, such as homeowners and auto
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse backgrounds
Active participation in company culture initiatives, such as employee resource groups or volunteering
