What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Handle an inventory of automotive damage, disputed liability, and cross-jurisdictional claims
Initiate and conduct arbitration between companies on disputed liability and damage claims
Negotiate and conclude recovery settlements while adhering to regulatory compliance
Investigate and evaluate auto claims within draft authority
Determine appropriate collection methods for recovery
What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of 3 years of automotive claims liability experience
General or advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
Strong customer service and negotiation skills
Proficient analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational skills
High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience with Medical Payments, PIP, and Bodily Injury claims
Understanding of different lines of coverage, such as homeowners, auto, and personal property
BA/BS in Business, Insurance, or a related area, or equivalent experience
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups
Active participation in company culture initiatives, such as employee resource groups or volunteering
