Subrogation Specialist - Medical Payments (Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Handle an inventory of automotive damage, disputed liability, and cross‑jurisdictional claims
Initiate and hear arbitration between companies on disputed liability and damage claims
Negotiate and conclude recovery settlements while maintaining strict regulatory compliance
Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle auto claims within draft authority
Determine appropriate collection methods and manage disputed liability claims
What is Required (Qualifications):
Minimum of 3 years of automotive claims liability experience
General or advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
Strong customer service and negotiation skills
Proficient analytical, problem‑solving, prioritization, and organizational skills
High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience with Medical Payments, PIP, or Bodily Injury claims
General understanding of different lines of coverage (i.e., homeowners, auto, personal property)
BA/BS in Business, Insurance, or a related area, or equivalent experience
Excellent communication skills with diverse backgrounds
Active participation in company culture initiatives (e.g., employee resource groups)
