What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Handle an inventory of automotive damage and disputed liability claims
Initiate and manage arbitration processes between companies on disputed claims
Negotiate and conclude recovery settlements while ensuring regulatory compliance
Investigate, evaluate, and settle auto claims within authority limits
Determine appropriate collection methods for claims recovery
What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of 3 years of automotive claims liability experience
General or advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations
Strong customer service and negotiation skills
Proficient analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience with Medical Payments, PIP, and Bodily Injury claims
General understanding of various lines of coverage (e.g., homeowners, auto)
BA/BS in Business, Insurance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Excellent communication skills with respect for diverse backgrounds
Active participation in company culture initiatives
