Subrogation Specialist - Medical Payments (Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Manage a designated volume of arbitrations and handle incoming calls related to Medical Payments and Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claims
Investigate and research losses to secure the company’s rights of recovery from insureds or other responsible parties
Negotiate and conclude recovery settlements while maintaining strict regulatory compliance
Initiate and hear arbitration between companies on disputed liability and damage claims
Determine appropriate collection methods and handle disputed liability claims
What is Required (Qualifications):
Minimum of 3 years of automotive claims liability experience
General or advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
Strong customer service and negotiation skills
Proficient analytical, problem‑solving, prioritization, and organizational skills
High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience with Medical Payments, PIP, and Bodily Injury claims
BA/BS in Business, Insurance, or a related area, or equivalent experience
General understanding of different lines of coverage (such as homeowners and auto)
Active participation in employee resource groups or community service
Excellent communication skills with diverse backgrounds
