Midwest Tape, LLC is a provider of digital library services, headquartered in Holland, OH.

Full-time, onsite position; Monday‑Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Base Pay Range $50,000.00 / yr – $60,000.00 / yr.

Position Summary The Bid Specialist is integral to the success of Midwest Tape‑hoopla. The role involves identifying Bid/RFP opportunities, conducting thorough research on customer data, and overseeing the project management of Bid/RFPs issued by libraries.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Understand and interpret the requirements of bid documents and manage all aspects of the bid process.

Respond to and complete all bid/RFPs as they come in through various libraries and Bid services.

Work with accounting, marketing, sales, and legal to provide succinct and beneficial responses to all bid requests.

Compile comprehensive bid documents.

Follow‑up with all open bid opportunities to ensure that responses were completed as directed.

Manage ongoing opportunities in Salesforce.

Track bid statuses and outcomes.

Provide reporting as needed.

Manage multiple bids simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Demonstrate a thorough understanding of contract terms and effectively manage contracts.

Required Skills

Preferred Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Experience

2–4 years in bid management or a similar role.

Experience with Loopio or similar bid software, Salesforce.

2 years of project management experience.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

Regularly sit for extended periods of time.

Perform repetitive motion‑type tasks.

Must be physically present for meetings, presentations, and training.

Ability to work on‑site in a team environment.
