About the Role Hi5 Furniture is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused
Account Executive
to serve as a trusted partner for clients, dealerships, sales reps, and designers nationwide. This role blends customer advocacy with technical expertise, requiring strong knowledge of the contract furniture industry, Hi5’s product portfolio, and mastery of
Configura CET Designer (CET) . The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional client experiences through accurate layouts, specifications, and quotes.
Key Responsibilities Client Advocacy & Support
Manage day-to-day requests from clients, dealerships, reps, and designers across the U.S.
Provide clear, timely responses to all inquiries, ensuring issues are resolved within 24 hours.
Propose professional, solutions-oriented resolutions for warranty claims.
Product & Technical Expertise
Educate clients and partners on Hi5 products, helping them select the right solutions for their applications.
Clearly explain product features and benefits, tailoring recommendations to project needs.
Collaborate with the engineering team to convert file types and supply technical information.
Serve as the
CET Designer Champion , supporting customers with Hi5’s CET extension and custom imports.
Create accurate space plans, drawings, and specifications within CET Designer.
Generate timely, precise quotes and proposals that align with client requirements and company standards.
Ensure all quotes comply with pricing structures, discounting policies, and contractual terms.
Maintain CET best practices to uphold quoting accuracy and consistency.
Order Processing
Enter customer orders into the internal system with accuracy and attention to detail.
Communicate customer requests and order details to the engineering team.
Ensure all orders include complete, permanent information such as project name, finishes, billing information, and other key data.
Process Improvement & Collaboration
Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, tools, and workflows.
Partner cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and operations to ensure project success.
Uphold Hi5’s customer service standards, fostering long-term client relationships.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Industrial Design, or related field
(preferred).
3–5 years of contract furniture industry experience
in customer service, sales support, or project management.
Advanced proficiency in Configura CET Designer (required).
Strong understanding of quoting processes, dealership discounts, and list price structures.
Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to train and support team members.
Positive, client-first demeanor with strong relationship management skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy in specifications and documentation.
Analytical mindset, balancing client satisfaction with business objectives.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with ERP/CRM tools.
Valid U.S. driver’s license and legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship provided).
Position Details
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am - 5pm
Location: In-person position
Compensation: $80k - $120k
