B.L. Harbert International is seeking a Mechanical Superintendent with HVAC expertise for projects worldwide. The candidate must be capable of working with diverse crews of various backgrounds and nationalities. Ideal candidates will possess extensive knowledge of mechanical methods, practices, and procedures. The superintendent will provide guidance to field supervisors and craft employees, manage work performance and productivity to meet deadlines, and serve as a liaison between senior management, field supervision, craft workers, and TCN employees. Requirements
Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance Willingness to relocate overseas for 2-4 years Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to collaborate with people from different trades, backgrounds, and cultures Knowledge of building and installation codes Understanding of diagrams and blueprints Commitment to safety regulations and maintaining a safe, clean work environment Qualifications
Experience
Required
10+ years of experience with HVAC systems At least 5 years in a supervisory role Additional Skills
Ability to manage HVAC materials, including ordering and control Proficiency with HVAC tools such as shears, punches, presses, hammers, drills Experience in layout, fabrication, installation, and testing per SMACNA standards Commercial/industrial sheet metal HVAC experience Preferred
