SMART Funeral Arranger

divh2Funeral Arranger/h2pAccu-Care is seeking a Funeral Arranger for Accu-Care Carlsbad. The goal of the funeral arranger is to provide exemplary customer service to our internal and external customers. This position will be relied on to continue to keep Accu-Care in total compliance with state and local requirements and to attend all field audits by the state./ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliTake first calls during office hours and while on call, dispatch to transport companies following established protocols/liliSchedule and conduct the arrangement conference with the family/liliCoordinate the cremation, funeral, memorial services/liliCreate and register death through EDRS/liliCreate checks and submit payment to local health departments for disposition permits/liliOrder urns, caskets and other merchandise as necessary for families/liliComplete assigned training in order to stay in compliance with company policy/liliWhile on call, provide pricing, answer questions and take first calls and dispatch/li/ulh3Requirements and Qualifications/h3ulliCurrent license or certification if required by state regulations/lili1+ years of funeral industry experience/liliProfessional communication skills/liliExperience handling sensitive situations in a professional manner/liliKnowledge of current federal, state, and local regulations related to the funeral industry/liliValid drivers license/liliThis is NOT a remote position/li/ulh3Compensation/h3ulli$19.00 - $20.00/hr./li/ulh3Benefits/h3ulliMedical, dental, and vision insurance/liliHealth savings account (HSA)/liliLife insurance/lili401(k) with employer matching/li/ulpWe are an equal-opportunity employer.
