This role involves direct interaction with client families during their time of need and is dedicated to delivering a high level of client family satisfaction. The Staff Associate will assist with the setup and facilitation of viewings, funeral services, memorial services, and other funeral operations related events and tasks./ph3Responsibilities:/h3ulliSupport funeral directors by assisting with various tasks to ensure smooth funeral and visitation services./liliWelcome and engage with client families and guests attending services with warmth and professionalism./liliAid in the movement of the casketed deceased and related items within the funeral home, chapel, church, or other service locations./liliHandle the transportation and delivery of flowers, caskets, urns, photos, and personal mementos for client families./liliPrepare and arrange chapel or service venue, ensuring a seamless setup and thorough cleanup after the event./liliOperate funeral-related vehicles, including hearses, and other designated transportation for processions and events./li/ulh3Qualifications:/h3ulliAvailability to work evenings and weekends./liliA warm, welcoming demeanor and strong interpersonal skills./liliGenuine passion for assisting others and serving the community./liliAbility to multitask and remain calm under pressure./liliAttentive listener who can engage comfortably with individuals from diverse backgrounds./liliUnderstanding of the sensitive nature of funeral services and a compassionate approach./liliConfidence in speaking in front of groups when needed./liliCapable of lifting up to 50 lbs./liliMust have a valid CA drivers license./liliFuneral service related experience preferred./li/ulh3Compensation:/h3ulli$21-$24/hr./li/ulh3Benefits:/h3ulliMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance/liliHealth Savings Account (HSA)/liliLife Insurance/lili401(k) with Employer Matching/li/ulpWe are an equal-opportunity employer.
