Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars./ph3Responsibilities:/h3ulliDeburr hardware in the assigned work center to contribute to deliveries to downstream customers/liliChase machine cut threads to size/liliInspect surface finishes, threads, and broken edges/liliBorescope parts to check for internal defects and debris/liliOperate clean line equipment, laser part marking, and general part finishing according to requirements/liliPerform CNC machine preventative maintenance on a weekly and monthly basis/liliMaintain the shop in terms of chip bins, oils, greases, 5S and general upkeep activities/liliComplete work instructions and test plans to document needed data throughout each process/liliOperate CNC machines and produce flight hardware needed to achieve program level production rate goals/liliPerform precision set-ups of various CNC machines on state-of-the-art assets/liliPrioritize daily work to ensure high machine uptime across the assigned shop / area/liliManage cutting tools in CNC machines to ensure that machines have the needed cutting tools loaded and measured before they are called in upcoming programs/li/ulh3Basic Qualifications:/h3ulliHigh school diploma or equivalency certificate/lili1+ years of experience in manufacturing/li/ulh3Preferred Skills and Experience:/h3ulli5+ years of experience in manufacturing/liliAbility to read accurately and write clearly, perform basic arithmetic calculations accurately/liliExperience in shop math, tooling technology, blueprint reading and measurement of parts/liliStrong mechanical aptitude/liliStrong interpersonal skills including, but not limited to, contributing to a team-oriented environment, balancing team and individual responsibilities/liliPhysical Requirements: repetitive movement, bending or twisting, using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls, exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting/li/ulh3Additional Requirements:/h3ulliAvailable for overtime and weekend hours/liliMust be available for 1st shift (5:00 AM
