Position Type: Full time Contract Duration: 06-12 Months Location: Orlando, FL, 32804 (Onsite) As an Assembly Technician, you will:/polliPerform soldering tasks including soldering components, configuring cabling, and wiring./liliAssemble mechanical or electro-mechanical components, sub-assemblies, or final products in a repetitive and precise manner./liliBuild wiring harnesses, perform PCB assembly, and work with electrical and electro-optical subassemblies./liliUse hand tools such as long nose pliers, screwdrivers, soldering irons, wrenches, and wire strippers./liliCrimp cables using a wide range of tools (e.g., hand crimping tools)./liliWork with RTV, epoxy, and other adhesives/bonding materials./liliFollow engineered assembly processes, including adjustments, fitting, or alignment of parts as needed./liliRead and comply with work instructions, safety rules, and maintenance procedures./liliMaintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety protocols./liliPerform visual inspections for defects and conduct functional tests and cleaning at prescribed intervals./liliConduct quality inspections at specified intervals and report deviations from standards./liliMaintain consistent quality and productivity levels./liliUse Microsoft Office programs for documentation and communication./liliIdentify problems and contribute to process improvements./liliCollaborate effectively as part of a team to accomplish tasks and support group objectives for on-time delivery./liliVerify use of the most updated procedures and follow industry standards such as 6S./liliTransport materials weighing up to 25 lbs./liliPerform job duties in compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations./li/olpThe ideal candidate will have:/pulliHigh School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or a 2-year post-secondary/associates degree with 02 years of related experience./lili2 years of experience with basic hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers)./lili2 years of experience in computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and email navigation./lili1 year of experience in reading and following drawings and work instructions./lili1 year of experience using a microscope for extended periods./liliJ-STD soldering experience./liliExperience with manual labor tasks./li/ulpQualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
