Youll be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team that values creativity, integrity, and performance./ph3Key Responsibilities/h3ulliProspect and secure new business through networking, referrals, and outreach./liliDevelop strong relationships with both advertising agencies and local clients to grow their business by planning and organizing a sales strategy to meet goals, as well as monitor and track sales plan./liliPerform in-depth data analysis to deliver actionable insights to ensure campaign success./liliDelivers sales presentations and report presentations to clients./liliDevelop integrated marketing campaigns that include linear TV, streaming (OTT/CTV), digital display, social, and branded content./liliExplain to customers how specific types of advertising will help promote their products or services in the most effective way possible./liliEducate advertisers on performance metrics, insights and best practices/liliWork cross-functionally with production, creative, promotions, and digital teams to bring campaigns to life./liliDeliver clear, data-backed proposals and recommendations to clients./liliConsistently meet or exceed individual revenue goals and quarterly targets./liliStay current on media trends, competitive insights, product portfolio, and emerging platforms./li/ulh3What Were Looking For/h3ulliA creative, proactive problem solver who thrives on helping clients succeed./liliA persuasive storyteller who can connect business challenges to tailored media solutions./liliA self-starter with strong time management and follow-through skills./liliA confident communicatorwritten, verbal, and in client-facing presentations./li/ulh3Requirements/h3ulliBachelors degree in Marketing, Advertising or Mass Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience./liliMinimum one years experience in sales, preferably in the media field./liliProven success in media, marketing, or B2B sales./liliKnowledge of digital advertising platforms (e.g., OTT, programmatic, SEO/SEM, etc.)./liliExperience achieving long-range objectives and implementing the strategies and actions to achieve them./liliProficient in Microsoft Office; CRM experience (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus./liliValid NC drivers license and reliable transportation./li/ulh3Why CBS 17?/h3ulliWere part of Nexstar Media Group, the nations largest local media company./liliOur reach includes NFL, college football, My Carolina, Local News that Matters, and much more./liliAccess to advanced tools, strong leadership, and hands-on sales training./liliComprehensive full benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k)
