Regional Account Specialist
The ideal candidate should be in the Twin Cities Metro area with the ability to work onsite as needed at the Bloomington Q-Central office. Remote work may be an option for candidates in Pennsylvania, Colorado, Nevada, and outside the Twin Cities Metro area in Minnesota. Please note, relocation assistance is not provided. WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR: The Regional Account Specialist will work within an assigned region and is responsible for developing new meaningful partnerships and growing sales through onboarding new retailers to QBP. The Regional Account Specialist will be focused on vetting and setting up new accounts for QBP, following up on sales opportunities, and communicating directly with new and existing customers. In addition to setting up new accounts, the Regional Account Specialist will be communicating with regional sales teams about new high potential accounts. Working collaboratively with the RSM, Outside Sales Reps (OSR) and Account Managers (AM) the Regional Account Specialist helps to communicate, sell, and support retailers within their region. The Regional Account Specialist will assist in the development of a strong pipeline for new business opportunities through direct and indirect customer contact. Individuals who are a part of the QBP Sales Team will be accountable for their personal performance. Individuals are expected to make a positive contribution to QBP's culture, share best practices with the Sales team, learn continuously, and share feedback with others. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 2+ years of experience in the bicycle or outdoor industry High school diploma or GED required Basic financial and statistical literacy Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office along with the ability to quickly learn other programs Understand the basics of the sales process and possess selling skills. Ability to quickly gain knowledge of QBP's product offerings, identify dealer needs and sell the right product to the right dealer at the right time. Excellent relationship building skills supplemented by self-awareness and continuous self-improvement Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to interpret others by observing tone and body language Strong negotiation skills with the ability to negotiate in a way that maximizes everyone's best interests. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as a team to solve complex problems or situations PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bike retail or other industry experience preferred OTHER RELATED CRITERIA: Domestic Travel Ability to travel domestically 2 or more times a year which includes flying by plane and driving a motor vehicle. Must possess a valid US driver's license and fulfill the requirements of being a QBP Approved Driver. Physical Requirements Ability to perform work on a phone and computer extensively Ability to work outside in various work conditions
