Sales Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Sales Engineer to join our team. The role involves working closely with our existing team to manage day-to-day communication with assigned in-house accounts. You will follow up with leads generated from trade shows and industry events through various communication channels. Additionally, you will support quoting, provide product recommendations, and address technical questions. Strong communication skills are necessary, and you should be comfortable working with OEMs and manufacturing customers. Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day communication with assigned in-house accounts. Follow up with leads generated from trade shows and industry events via email, text, and calls. Support quoting, provide product recommendations, and answer technical questions. Maintain strong communication with OEMs and manufacturing customers. Organize and proactively manage account communication and follow-ups. Essential Skills: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering fields. 1-3 years of experience in the engineering field. Strong client-facing communication skills. Experience in sales engineering and troubleshooting. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience in refrigeration, HVAC-R components, or industrial equipment is a plus. Experience with HVAC systems and equipment. Engineering background for handling technical questions on refrigeration systems. Sales mindset with a good teamwork ethic. Work Environment: The work environment is onsite. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Barrington, IL. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
