divh2Driver Job/h2pDrivers will operate vehicles safely, and keep organized and accurate records. Inform Logistics Coordinator and/or appropriate staff when problems arise:/pp- Map out and organize daily delivery routes and follow delivery schedules/pp- Safely operate the equipment necessary (cages, load bars, straps, pallet jacks, maps, and GPS units)/pp- Unload trucks when returning from runs; load vehicles when necessary/pp- Complete and keep DOT logs, record and run sheets up to date/pp- Document shortages and discrepancies and provide this information in a timely manner to appropriate Logistics team member/pp- Maintain professional communication/pp- Test vehicles equipment, such as lights, brakes, horns, or windshield wipers, to ensure proper operation, take vehicle to mechanic for service/pp- Vacuum and clean interiors, and wash and polish exteriors of automobiles/pp- Transport passengers on a scheduled basis/ppAdditional second shift hours may be offered/ppSkills:/pulliProfessional appearance and service oriented disposition to interact with customers/liliAbility to complete DOT paperwork and pass a DOT drug and alcohol screen/liliPossesses professional and effective interpersonal and communication skills/liliKeep vehicles clean and let team members know if there is a vehicle problem/liliComplete DVCRs (Vehicle Condition Report)/liliMust be able to maneuver up to 150 lbs./liliPossesses excellent time management, planning, decision making, and problem solving skills/liliHave solid work ethic and ability to work under pressure/liliExcellent teamwork, interpersonal and self-motivated skills/liliGood knowledge of equipment and roads/liliAble to read customers orders and follow directions/li/ulpRequirements:/pulliMinimum of High School Diploma or equivalent/liliMinimum 1 year recent driving experience/liliRequires valid drivers license or drivers license issued by a US state/liliMust have acceptable MVR and provide documentation/liliMust be able to obtain DOT examiners medical card before commencing work/liliMust be insurable by the employers insurance company/liliAbility to communicate, read, and comprehend traffic signage as well as DOT logs/li/ul/div
