Come join our team and work inspired each day!/ph3What Youll Do/h3pNetDocuments is seeking a Business Development Representative for our Government segment to drive qualified pipeline and accelerate growth in one of our most strategic enterprise markets./ppThis is not an entry-level BDR role. The ideal candidate thrives in complexity, is highly adaptive, and brings a strategic lens to outbound development. They understand how to navigate multi-stakeholder buying processes, tailor outreach to nuanced government personas, and create momentum in an often ambiguous environment./ppGovernment or public sector experience is beneficial but not required. More important is the ability to think critically, operate tactically, and rapidly adjust go-to-market plays./ppYou Will:/pulliExecute high-quality outbound prospecting to federal, state, and local agencies, generating net-new qualified opportunities in an enterprise environment./liliDevelop an account-based territory strategy focused on targeted personas, agency initiatives, and government buying cycles./liliQualify inbound leads and nurture early-stage opportunities using strong business judgment./liliConduct structured discovery to understand agency challenges, priorities, and procurement considerations before scheduling sales meetings./liliMaintain complete, accurate, and strategic account intelligence within Salesforce./liliPartner closely with Government Account Executives to build coordinated plays, refine outreach approaches, and align on territory plans./liliLeverage research and insights to tailor messaging for CIOs, Deputy AGs, records leaders, legal operations professionals, procurement teams, and other public sector stakeholders./liliContribute to experiments, playbooks, and process improvements that raise BDR team standards./liliOther duties as assigned./li/ulh3What Youll Need To Be Successful/h3pAbility to think on your feet and adapt to shifting priorities in a highly dynamic segment./ppStrong problem solving skills with a bias for action and experimentation./ppClear, concise communication and the ability to translate research into compelling outreach./ppOrganizational discipline to manage multi-threaded accounts and long time horizons./ppCuriosity that fuels deeper understanding of government workflows, constraints, and buying processes./ppCollaborative mindset and willingness to iterate with cross-functional partners./ppGrowth orientation and openness to coaching and feedback./ppAssociate or bachelors degree in a business-related field, or relevant equivalent experience./pp1+ year of sales-specific experience (preferably outbound BDR/SDR in a SaaS environment)./ppDemonstrated success prospecting into complex or enterprise accounts./ph3What Will Make You Stand Out/h3pPrevious software sales or SaaS BDR experience./ppExperience working with federal, state, or local government agencies./ppExperience with geographic or account-based territory management./ppExposure to legal, compliance, or public sector workflows./ppKnowledge of AI and automation use cases in SaaS environments./ph3What Youll Love About NetDocuments/h3p90 percent healthcare premiums covered/ppCompany HSA contribution/pp4 percent 401k match with no vesting period/ppTwice-a-year merit increases/ppFlexible time off (typically 3 to 4 weeks), plus 10 paid holidays/ppAuthentic, supportive leadership and ongoing mentorship/ppOpportunities for advancement within a growing global company/ph3Compensation Transparency/h3pThe compensation range for this position is: $55,000-$65,000 + Variable/ppThe posted cash compensation for this position includes on target earnings, base salary and variable if applicable. Some roles may qualify for overtime pay.
