We’re looking for a Field Service Technician to support our electric vehicle fleet on weekends in the DFW area. Join a fast‑growing manufacturer committed to sustainability and innovation.

Position Summary A regional Field Service Technician will diagnose, repair, and provide root‑cause analysis for Orange EV vehicles. Responsibilities include evaluating remote monitoring system data, recording service activities, collaborating with customers and third‑party providers, supporting sales and marketing, performing field upgrades or retrofits, and managing tool/parts warehousing.

Required Shift Friday – Monday; 4‑10 hour daytime shifts

Position Responsibilities

Understand the vehicle at a systemic/component level to diagnose and repair efficiently.

Represent Orange EV in a professional manner.

Use the Remote Monitoring System and Service Record‑Keeping System to determine service plans and prioritize customer needs.

Accurately record all service activity in the record‑keeping system.

Communicate with customers and third‑party service providers to aid in diagnosis or issue escalation and promote efficient repair scenarios.

Work with the site manager and electrician regarding charging infrastructure logistics.

Evaluate conversion vehicle candidates and prepare thorough condition reports.

Support Customer Technicians and Third‑Party Service Providers with ancillary repairs.

Provide secure remote location for tools, parts, and other necessary items.

Deliver operator and maintenance training in addition to sales and business development support.

Travel as required for initial training and to meet service team goals and customer needs.

Position Qualifications

High School Diploma; related technical degree preferred.

1+ year experience in automotive or electrical industries.

Intermediate to advanced-level experience with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, TEAMS).

Knowledge of principles and processes for providing superior customer service.

Analytical approach to problem solving.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs at waist level and occasionally up to 75–100 lbs.

Ability to squat, sit, lie under, or climb on the vehicle routinely.

Ability to handle multiple functions simultaneously and adjust to rapidly changing priorities and schedules.

Ability to set and prioritize goals and achieve them according to a schedule.

Ability to execute and follow through on instructions from the supervisor.

Ability to articulate clearly in writing (composition, spelling, and punctuation).
