The Federal Marketing Manager is accountable for supporting the development, execution and continuing improvement of marketing programs, tactics and plans that support the business objective of Fortinet Federal. This includes, but is not limited to event management, print and digital collateral, social media, thought leadership content, sponsorship activation, web, and designated corporate initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Support team in virtual and in-person event execution including trade shows, events, and company functions while bringing creative ideas to drive attendance and participation at events.

Manages execution of marketing and customer experience tactics, such as: creative projects, brand experience, events and community engagement efforts.

Researches and recommends alternative solutions for processes or system enhancements that would result in more efficient/ effective work products.

Coordinate with the cross‑functional teams in the development and execution on all aspects of complex integrated marketing initiatives encompassing strategy development, creative development, internal & external communications, and collateral development.

Tracking campaign outcomes including list management and upload into appropriate systems and outcomes by each campaign.

Materials organization on all systems such as SharePoint, Teams, and other sources for sharing across organization.

Pre- and post-campaign follow up coordination.

Serve as key resource in developing marketing plan and tactics for the Federal Government market.

Assist in production of marketing materials.

Manages materials distribution, updates, and preparation for marketing programs and initiatives.

Develop, execute, maintain and monitor content strategies through our social media channels and website.

Serve as primary contact with local businesses and charities whom we partner with and sponsor.

Creates and/or prepares PowerPoint presentations and templates.

Provides project management support to agency partners, web partners and other vendors.

Distributes key communication updates to employees through various channels.

Requirements

3-5 years’ experience in marketing or related field

Desire to gain marketing campaign and project management experience

Strong communication skills with attention to detail

Independent thinker, self-starter and passionate about marketing

Proven work experience as a Marketing Associate, Marketing Coordinator or similar role

Demonstrated project and time management skills for juggling many changing priorities and working under tight deadlines.

Knowledge of marketing digital tools and techniques

Solid computer skills, including MS Excel, web analytics and Google AdWords

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Strong analytical skills with a goal-oriented attitude

BS degree in Marketing or relevant field preferred
