Position Overview: We are looking for an Sales Account Executive (Construction) to join our growing sales team. The Sales Account Executive (Construction) is responsible for selling, renewing and expanding service agreements, including multi-year agreements, for ongoing HVAC and Building Automation Systems (BAS) maintenance to both new and existing customers. This position will develop additional customer relationships through trade shows as well as other company sponsored networking opportunities with facility managers, property management companies, mechanical contractors, owners and other potential key decision makers.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain monthly sales goals and forecasts.

Identify key business opportunities through networking, cold calling, following up on technician referrals and qualifying leads.

Identifying HVAC equipment and control devices to accurately evaluate conditions, inventory all components, develop estimate and recommend an appropriate maintenance program.

Review state, federal and local bid boards for advertised maintenance request for proposals (RFP) and qualifications (RFQ).

Follow up with customers on new HVAC and BAS installation projects after completion with an in-warranty maintenance proposal.

Create professional sales proposals and presentations.

Identify value selling by providing simple payback calculations, showing increased building reliability, and selling improved tenant comfort.

Utilize CRM to plan and document sales progress.

Participate in trade shows and professional organizations.

Conduct turnover meetings with CCI’s Service and Operations Team to include point of contact, start dates, estimated labor and materials and any special customer requests.

Check on and follow up on service contract customers to make sure what is being delivered is to your customer’s satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, construction, marketing or an industry-relevant field experience

Proficient with Microsoft Office and/or CRM software (training provided).

Analytical skills

Competitive negotiator with excellent customer service skills

Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn HVAC systems.

Interest in HVAC industry and sales; prior experience in customer service or inside/outside sales is a plus but not required.
