LHH is working with one of our San Diego Amazon Marketing agencies to bring on an Amazon Advertising Director. This person must have deep understanding of Amazon Vendor and Seller Central, extensive people management skills, and E‑Commerce advertising strategy experience. You should be ready to roll up your sleeves and execute, but the majority of the work in this role will be high level strategy and people/department management.

The agency is growing in many different avenues, and this opportunity is great for someone looking to join a fast‑paced team in an agency environment. This role is onsite in San Diego 5 days a week and offers a salary of $160,000–$230,000 and benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO and paid holidays. Relocation assistance provided if necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee budgets, resource allocation, and organizational design to scale performance.
  • Lead process transformation, set vision, KPIs, and long‑term objectives for measurable impact.
  • Mentor emerging leaders and foster a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Leverage market insights and analytics to guide innovative strategies and optimize ROAS.
  • Align departmental initiatives with enterprise goals, championing cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Advertising
  • 4+ years of experience in Amazon Advertising and 4+ years experience in management
  • Strong understanding of the Amazon landscape
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work well with clients
  • Skilled in problem solving and process improvement
