Order Entry Specialist

As an Order Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing sales orders to determine and approve which should be released to the shipping department. Responsibilities include reviewing sales orders and approving for shipping, advising departments on inventory discrepancies and quality checks, coordinating with shipping to manage freight costs and loads, coordinating with the quality team for adjustments and credits, analyzing system reports for customer action plans, providing order confirmation and shipping updates to customers, reporting insights to management from customer interactions, and escalating unresolved issues and responding to customer needs promptly. Essential skills include proficiency in customer service and order entry processes, strong data entry and administrative support skills, experience with EDI orders and purchase order processing, competency in Excel including data entry and pivot tables, and knowledge of data analytics and inventory management. This is a contract to hire position based out of Lebanon, TN. The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.
