Sheet Metal Operator
We are seeking skilled Sheet Metal Operators to join our night shift team. You will play a crucial role in the fabrication of raw materials, ensuring the production of high-quality sheet metal components. The position involves setting up and operating fabricating machines to cut, bend, and straighten sheet metal, as well as inspecting, assembling, and smoothing the finished products. Responsibilities: Load material into machines and perform necessary operations to complete fabrication. Maintain a written record of tasks performed, including time required and other necessary data. Maintain and repair equipment, making modifications when necessary. Select raw materials according to instructions. Maneuver and securely anchor large sheet metal parts. Essential Skills: 1-5 years of experience in a warehouse setting or logistics, with a preference for experience in operating material handling equipment. High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Ability to read a tape measure. Spot welding experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Certification to operate a forklift is preferred. Experience with shop welding, MIG welding, and knowledge in using hand tools, various types of sheet metal, and a tape measure. Familiarity with drawings, blueprints, mild steel, fabrication, fab shop, Press Brake, and Spot Welding. Why Work Here?
