Join Global Power Components, a privately held manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housing fully‑equipped electrical distribution and control equipment.
We are seeking a 1st Shift Press Brake Operator dedicated, detail‑oriented, and willing to work overtime (average 50 hours per week). You will operate our 230 ton Cincinnati Press Brake.
Responsibilities
Operation and programming of the 230 ton Cincinnati Press Brake.
Produce materials according to specifications.
Inspect produced materials for quality and conformance.
Correct any inconsistencies.
Clean the machine and surrounding area.
Perform maintenance of the machine.
Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience in machine or brake press operation.
Willingness to work unplanned overtime to complete rush jobs.
Ability to read blueprints and be proficient in math.
Experience in a manufacturing setting.
Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
Highly motivated with a strong drive to succeed.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail.
Must pass a competency test and pre‑employment physical/ drug screen.
Benefits Outstanding job security, 40+ hours per week, 52 weeks per year. OT paid over 40 hours. Medical/Dental benefits eligible after 60 days. Several employees average 50 hours per week.
