Salary: $102,900.00 - $135,075.00
Overview Pave America is a private equity‑backed, fast‑growing facility services company with over 30 operating companies and approximately $1 billion in annual revenue. The Texas region, where this role is based, is accelerating growth through acquisitions and the Sales Estimator will support the sales/estimating department by qualifying RFPs from existing and potential clients.
Key Responsibilities
Attend sales and marketing strategy meetings.
Make contact with clients and qualify leads.
Schedule and conduct pre‑bid meetings.
Read and review civil, architectural and/or structural engineering plans, drawings and specifications.
Prepare site take‑offs, measurements, calculations, etc.
Estimate costs for materials, supplies, manpower, etc.
Negotiate proposal terms and pricing with clients, revising as needed.
Perform regular follow‑ups until projects are awarded or withdrawn.
Serve as liaison between client, Director of Operations, Project Managers, and Foremen through all project phases.
Work closely with Operations and Project Management to hand‑off projects.
Qualifications
AA/BA degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Proficient with estimating software.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Dependable, professional team player.
Superior organization and communication skills (verbal and written).
Minimum of three years experience in asphalt and/or concrete estimating.
Clean driving record and full insurance required.
