We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Specialist for our Mid‑Atlantic Region, focused on Pennsylvania. The selected candidate will serve as the central point of contact for our agency partners, promote sales of commercial property and casualty products through the independent agency system, and be responsible for the acquisition and retention of profitable accounts.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with agency partners.
Serve as the central point of contact for agency partners and policyholders.
Promote sales of commercial P&C products and negotiate new account selection, new account pricing, and renewal pricing terms.
Provide direct policyholder service.
Work with agents to set strategic goals through annual planning sessions.

The salary range for this position is $102,357-$157,629 annually. This range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Four or more years of commercial, multi-line, P&C marketing and underwriting experience.
Excellent knowledge of the independent agency system, specifically the P&C marketplace.
Superior underwriting technical experience.
Experience developing new accounts in the Pennsylvania market preferred.
Valid driver's license.
Work history that demonstrates success.
Preferred Qualifications
Industry designations, such as CIC, CPCU or other designations, are desired but not required.
