Service Plumber

Position Overview Smith and Oby is growing, and we are looking for a skilled Service Plumber to join our team. This role plays a critical part in delivering the quality workmanship and reliable customer service our company is known for. The Service Plumber will diagnose, repair, maintain, and install plumbing systems in commercial buildings across Northeast Ohio while serving as a positive ambassador of the Smith and Oby brand.

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair plumbing issues across commercial and industrial systems IMAGE

Perform routine service, maintenance, and preventative inspections IMAGE

Install piping systems, fixtures, and equipment according to drawings, specifications, and building codes IMAGE

Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to customers and internal teams IMAGE

Document service activities accurately and on timeкая

Ensure all work is completed safely and follows Smith and Oby procedures and codes IMAGE

Care for company issued tools, equipment, and vehicles IMAGE

Participate in on call rotation as assigned IMAGE

Required Qualifications

Journeyman card or ability to obtain Journeyman licensing IMAGE

Three or more years of experience in plumbing service IMAGE

Strong understanding of plumbing systems including domestic water, gas lines, sanitary and storm IMAGE

Ability to work independently and solve problems in the field IMAGE

Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record LTEE?

Preferred Qualifications

Backflow certification IMAGE

Experience in occupied commercial environments, industrial plants, schools, or healthcare IMAGE

Boiler, medical gas, or welding Renato? beneficial IMAGE
