Areas of Responsibility and Job Requirements The onsite Leasing Director’s responsibilities are to oversee and manage the full scope of the leasing process for new prospects, and current residents during the renewal process. Achieving leasing and occupancy goals will be a main driver for the Leasing Director. The primary duties are to maintain a fully leased property at prevailing market rates. This position requires having expertise in the competitive market, advertising, marketing strategies, communication, organization, sales and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide guidance and leadership for the leasing team
Provide detailed feedback about leasing during leasing calls, communicate effectively to larger group about trends.
Delegate daily and weekly tasks as needed to leasing team
Provides administrative support by implementing systems, procedures, and policies.
Assist in closing deals as needed
Provide assistance for residents with sublet, lease assignment, or surrender agreements
Coordinate move‑ins with property managers and supers.
Provide weekly/monthly updates
Train new hires.
Work proactively to stay in front of any possible issues/problems
Communicate effectively with multiple departments
High School Diploma or equivalent
Associate’s preferred
Minimum Years of Experience Required
3+ years of comparable work experience
Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities อีก
Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office
Proficiency with Yardi, DocuSign, and On‑Site, Funnel Leasing, preferred
Knowledge of Rent Stabilization
Strong negotiating and customer service skills
Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
Ability to create and manage workflows, and ability to manage and_matrix lead teams
Competencies/Essential Job Functions This position consists mainly of medium physical work. The position may require exertion of up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
The incumbent is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned or to make general observations of facilities or structures (reports, etc.).
This role frequently requires the incumbent to grasp, reach objects, climb, engage in repetitive movements with the wrist, hands, and fingers by typing; feel and touch objects with fingers, palm, and hands.

This position will be frequently subjected to both indoor and outdoor environmental conditions and temperature changes (extreme cold or extreme heat) with or without effective protection from the weather.
The incumbent may also be frequently subject to hazards including a variety of physical conditions, as well as occasional atmospheric hazards (i.e. conditions that affect the respiratory system such as fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation).
The incumbent may occasionally be subject to noise sufficientédit e to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above the noise, atmospheric conditions.
