Job Description

The Revenue Specialist will be responsible for the tactical execution of GolfNow's B2B Revenue Management Services (RMS) with the purpose of maximizing client satisfaction and service retention.

This position will be staffed by an individual experienced with revenue management tactics and strategies; capable of applying those principles to a cluster of golf course operations.

Ideal candidates are experts on the golf economy, which includes detailed knowledge of golf course operations, golf course technology products/solutions, market leaders, decision makers, macroeconomic issues, and key competitors.

Job Duties Account Management

Foster customer relationships to promote technology and service retention.

Assist golf course partners in developing operational plans.

Prioritize proactive activities and respond effectively to client needs.

Collaborate with golf course sales and marketing teams to align marketing with revenue strategies.

Conduct regular meetings with course partners to discuss performance and future strategies.

Maintain up-to-date account information and client communication in Salesforce.

Upsell products and services.

Analytics and Reporting

Automate client and leadership reporting.

Create customer success stories and case studies to aid Sales in acquiring new Athena sales.

Advise on pricing, business mix, group/outing pricing, loyalty programs, and memberships.

Price Execution

Formulate and implement revenue and yield management strategies to maximize green fee revenue.

Manage tee time inventory settings across various platforms (Premier, Pro, and GNC).

Ensure tee time availability across all distribution channels and resolve any disruptions.

Price Optimization

Monitor performance metrics to provide context and adjust strategy as needed.

Conduct competitor analyses, environmental scanning, and interpret demand forecasting models.

Review and approve segmentation and price optimization output from Decision Science models.

Product Activations & Development

Execute onboarding, implementation, and optimization processes for Athena (CPO) clients.

Represent the end user in the development of tools, processes, and reporting related to Athena.

Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and competitors.

Coordinate with leadership to respond to product suggestions.

Develop standard operating procedures for managing a portfolio of high‑value golf course partner accounts using Athena (CPO).

Basic Qualifications

2+ years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and golf specific or hospitality revenue management training, experience and/or certification (CRME).

Reliable with the ability to work in a professional office setting and remotely without direct supervision in a demanding, fast‑paced, deadline driven environment.

Experience in customer service and/or account management or other B2B roles.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and partner with diverse client personalities.

Experience using Microsoft Excel.

Capable of working in the MS Office suite of software products (O365).

Desired Qualifications

Proficiency in negotiation and handling objections.

Demonstrable sales skills and persuasive abilities.

High-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data literacy for data‑driven storytelling.

Experience with data visualizations and the MS O365 suite of software products.

Experience with electronic tee sheets, specifically EZLinks, GolfNow, and related applications.

Experience with GolfNow’s products, services, and marketplace.

Experience in the golf industry and general golf operations.

Salesforce experience.

Ability to mentor peers.

CRME Certification is a plus.

Experience in hotel, airline, or sports revenue management is a plus.

Experience with R, Python, and/or SQL is a plus.

Additional Requirements

Must be based in Orlando, FL.

This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed during critical projects.

Ability to be “on‑call” during major implementations.
